Private client middle names should not be included with your transfer request, because the SWIFT messages only have fields for the client's forename and their surname.
The surname and the forename, are shown in the SWIFT Fields as Nm and GvnNm:

And here it is again in the template for sese.012.001.11 (Portfolio Transfer request)
When two names are received in the GvnNm field within the SWIFT, this is checked against our records for the clients forename only. As the data needs to match in order for the request to be accepted, the request will reject with "Primary client first name incorrect", because our systems cannot match two names against one.
If you have received a rejection for this reason and you can see from your SWIFT that you have included the client's middle name, please remove this and resubmit your request.
